BusWhat is Metroway?

Metroway offers a faster trip along Route 1 between Pentagon City and Braddock Rd Metrorail stations, via Potomac Yard. The service features dedicated bus-only lanes, consolidated bus stops, and more service, seven days a week. Because Metroway buses travel on bus-only lanes through congested areas, beating traffic is a breeze. Buses come often and make limited stops, so you’ll get where you need to go—faster.

Operating Hours

During peak hours, Metroway buses currently run every six minutes from Crystal City to Potomac Yard and every 12 minutes between Braddock Road and Pentagon City.   The buses run every 12 minutes during daytime off-peak, and every 15 minutes evening off-peak.  On weekends, they run every 20 minutes.
